19th Century style Meissen Tureen with family crest.

About the Item

A very good quality 19th Century style German Meissen porcelain lidded tureen, having wonderful gilded high lights, scrolling handles and feet, white porcelain garlands of flowers surrounding the whole. a faux pierced affect and four small inset hand painted plaques depicting romantic scenes. A family crest or armoral painted on the lid which has this impressive crown finial,which may mean it a significant provenence. Batch 66 60304. UACKN
