A magnificent, fine and impressive, rare antique George IV English sterling silver soup tureen assayed in York; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This magnificent antique George IV English sterling silver soup tureen has an oval rounded form. The lower portion of the body is encompassed with impressive chased fluted decoration in a subtle swirl design. The decoration to the body incorporates an impressive scrolling leaf bordered cartouche to either side, each displaying an exceptional contemporary bright cut engraved marital coat of arms* depicting on the dexter a chevron between three crosses paty and the sinister a quadrangular castle. The coat of arms is surmounted with a bright cut engraved crest displaying a tent adorned or lined charged in the interior with a cross paty of the third. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Austrian silver coffee pot with spirit burner; an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection This exceptional antique Austrian silver coffee pot has a plain cylindrical form. The coffee pot body is plain and encompassed with an applied moulded girdle to the upper portion. This exceptional coffee pot is fitted with the original push fit cover, encompassed with a palmette leaf style border to the rim. The cover is surmounted with an impressive cast silver foliated finial. This coffee pot is fitted with an elongated handle overlaid with the original interwoven wicker, strategically interlaced to produce a segmented braided design; this finely detailed feature indicates the high quality of the piece. The pot detaches from the original hallmarked silver stand, supported by four impressive scrolling legs. The circular frame and base of the stand are encompassed with further palmette decorated borders. Very Impressive Antique English Regency Paw Foot Silver Plated Tea Urn Drinks Dispenser Samovar. Circa Late 19th Century. Measurements: 16" H x 13" W x 16" D.

This extraordinarily rare and masterfully crafted tea urn is by the hand of the master Georgian silversmith Paul Storr. Created by Storr while working for Rundell, Bridge and Rundell, Jewelers and Goldsmiths to the King, this magnificent piece truly represents the sophisticated style of the renowned firm and the enormous talents of Paul Storr. Applied and engraved decoration envelop this masterpiece equipped with a carved handle, lion's head spigot and spectacular lion's paw supports. The piece bears the arms of the Neave Baronetcy with those of Digby, for Sir Thomas Neave and his wife Frances Caroline, daughter of the Hon. William Digby, the Dean of Durham. Though he held no formal title, Storr enjoyed patronage from the most important and powerful figures of the period including King George III and the Prince of Wales, the future King George IV.
