An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver teapot made by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver teapot has a plain paneled pear shaped form onto a spreading stepped octagonal collet style foot. The surface of this octagonal paneled teapot is plain and unembellished. This antique teapot retains the original hinged hallmarked domed paneled cover surmounted with an impressive sterling silver tiered finial. This Edward Barnard and Sons silver teapot is fitted with the original carved painted wood opposing scrolling handle with a scroll style thumbpiece, with plain paneled sterling silver sockets. The teapot has a paneled swan necked spout, accented with a scalloped socket in junction with the body. This impressive example of antique silverware was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. Condition This antique Edward Barnard and Sons silver teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. This fine example of antique teaware has been professionally polished. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks struck to the interior of the cover are very clear. An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Victorian English sterling silver spirit kettle; an addition to our antique silver teaware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a melon shaped, incurved paneled form. Each segment of the paneled body is embellished with impressive alternating flat engraved designs incorporating quatrefoil motifs accented with bordered leaf ornamentation and a trellis pattern, all encompassed with a matte texture. The upper portion of the body is encircled with a flat engraved undulating border with applied moulded decoration to the scalloped rim. This antique silver kettle is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with the exceptional and original hallmarked sterling silver gourd shaped finial, securing to the interior with a wing nut. This fine example of Victorian teaware is fitted with an impressive hallmarked sterling silver scrolling handle ornamented with impressive cast S-scroll, leaf decorated terminals accented with large scrolling leaf decorated sockets in junction with the body. This solid silver kettle has a plain paneled swan necked spout with an impressive scalloped shaped socket accented with a paralleling border. This exceptional kettle detaches from the original hallmarked cast sterling silver Stand, supported by four impressive cast scrolling legs accented with further applied leaf ornamentation.
