Antique Victorian Sardine Box in Brass & Frosted Glass, 19th century

About the Item

A fine sardine box executed in brass and frosted glass and featuring a towering handle. Intricate detailing and craftsmanship throughout the piece. Its old silver-plating has been worn of. It shows a rainbow-like patina to its sides. Intact and very useable antique condition. It has a makers-mark and a number. It was made circa 1850-90 in Europe. Measurements: H: 20/8 cm (with/without handle), W: 13 cm, Dept: 10 cm.
