Outstanding and fine, thirteen piece English Staffordshire dessert set, 19th century, by W. Adams and Sons, Stoke-Upon-Trent, with exquisite hand-painted landscape reserves surrounded by broad magenta and gilt scroll borders, consisting of five footed compotes and eight dessert plates, measures: tall compote-height, 8 3/8", width, 13.5", depth, 10.75", plates, height, 7/8", diameter, 8 7/8". From a gentleman collector, New Orleans.
