Finely Proportioned Coconut Goblet in 17th Century Taste

About the Item

A finely proportioned coconut goblet in 17th century taste 19th century or earlier. Turned and polished coconut shell, swag and drop engraved top frieze, “ I P” intials, fleur-de-lis and date 1795, on finely turned fruitwood stem. Measures: 8 5/8" (22 cm) high. 3 1/2" (9 cm) diameter.
