About the Item

Triangular spoon designed by Jean Gillon and produced by Italma/WoodArt, dating from the 1960s. Made of solid wood, this spoon is distinguished by its original geometric shape and carefully worked details. The spoon has a triangular structure, bringing an artistic and contemporary dimension to its design. The geometric shape gives the object a unique aesthetic, perhaps evoking modernist influences of the time. The edges of the spoon are probably decorated with subtle details, highlighting Gillon's commitment to a refined design. The choice of solid wood testifies to the quality of the materials used, giving the spoon both strength and durability. Solid wood can also bring shades of color and grain, adding a visual dimension to the object. Overall, this triangular spoon represents not only a functional object but also a miniature work of art. Its thoughtful design and the use of solid wood highlight the aesthetics of the mid-twentieth century and the distinctive collaboration between Jean Gillon and Italma/WoodArt in the 1960s.
