Large George III Sterling Silver Salver by John Carter, circa 1776

About the Item

This large footed salver by John Carter is finely executed in sterling, and engraved this motto "In Deo Confido". Carter has a specialist candlestick and salver marker, many of his wares were designed by Robert Adam.
