Antique Victorian Silver Plated Convertible Candelabra

About the Item

This large and substantial Victorian silver plated candelabra was presumed to have been made in England in circa 1880 in the Victorian style. This candelabra is ornately cast and converts from four branches to two. Or three as desired. The stylized cups have beaded borders which are replicated on the drip pans and also used to accent the center column. The center post of the candelabra is decorated with a scrolling vine motif accented with small sprays of berries. The stepped square base is bordered with a complimentary beaded decoration to that used on the borders of the cups.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. One convertible branch is either slightly bent or the not seating properly in the central post. Some minor surface wear to the finish of the base and some 'high' spots and one small ding noted on the base.
