Art Deco Silver Plate Novelty Biscuit Box in the Form of a Victorian Top Hat Box

About the Item

Whimsical Art Deco silver plate biscuit box in the form of a Victorian leather top hat box, of ovoid form with raised ends and applied strap handle and having simulated stitching and hinged closure. Thumbnuts inside the lid allow the handle to be removed for polishing. Marked G P & S (?) over 3584, to the bottom.
