Set of 12 Baltimore 1816 coin silver teaspoons by John Erwin. A rare & fine set with the assy mark of that year to a purity of 91.66% (sterling is 92.5%). Elongated, graceful handles with chamfered, pointed shoulders. Monogram "TC". 6.30 troy oz. Belden, p.158; Goldsborough, pp 121, 181; Pleasant & Sill, pp. 30, 119, 227, 294 & Plates 2 & 3.
