A Very Good Art Nouveau Silver Plated Gallery Tray, England Circa 1900

About the Item

A very good & highly stylized Art Nouveau period silver plated gallery tray of navette form, showing an oval base surrounded by a striking open-work gallery of interlaced loop-shaped elements, rising up at both ends to open handles and raised overall on four compressed bun feet. A highly attractive & substantial gallery tray, of very solid construction and weighing approximately 5 pounds! No apparent marks but most likely of British manufacture.
