About the Item
Sterling Silver 6-Piece Tea & Coffee Service by Asprey of London, 1935. This striking set was made by the Royal Silversmiths, Asprey of London. Each piece is marked Asprey, London & each fully hallmarked for Asprey with the Silver Jubilee marks, 1935, for King George V & Queen Mary. Consists of a large coffee pot & tea pot; a medium coffee pot & tea pot; cream and sugar. The panelled bodies with conforming spouts are raised on Onslow feet below Arts & Crafts leaves. Ivory insulators. 132.30 troy oz.
Coffee Pots: 7 9/16" x 4.25" x 8 7/8" h. & 10" x 4.5" x 8 9/16" h. Tea pots: 10" x 4.75" x 9 1/8" h. & 11" x 4.75" x 6 7/8" h. Cream: 6 1/16" x 3 1/16" x 5 5/8" h. Sugar: 8 1/8" x 4" x 4 7/8" h.
