Electroplated Silver Bottle Coasters Antique Circa 1940
About the Item
A very good pair of antique electroplated silver bottle coasters; part of our wine and drinks related collection.
These antique electroplated silver bottle coasters have a circular rounded form.
The body of each coaster is encircled with pierced decorated undulating geometric garland, paralleling simplified scroll and floral motif designs.
The lower portion of each silver bottle coaster is embellished with a broad band of pierced Gothic style arch decoration.
The flared rim of each piece is encompassed with a gadroon decorated border accented with leaf motifs.
The coasters are fitted with turned oak bases with a central domed silver plated button.
The underside of each silver bottle coaster is fitted with green baize.
Condition
These antique electroplated silver bottle coasters are very good quality with the original silver plate. The coasters are in excellent condition in keeping with their age.
