This is a large wonderful antique English Victorian silver-plated Tray by Walker & Hall, circa 1880 in date. This splendid large tray features beautifully plain body. The raised border featues twin handles to each side and is decorated with scalloped edges and floral ornamentation, the center feaures a a foral engraved panel. It is splendid and luxurious and will look fabulous on your sideboard with decanters and glasses. The quality and craftsmanship throughout the piece are truly second to none. This is an exquisite and rare antique pair of English silver plated on copper entree dishes stamped Walker & Hall Sheffield Plate Old Style, and dated Circa 1860. The dishes are of rectangular shaped form with gaddrooned and acanthus leaf borders with detachable handles. This is a lovely antique Victorian silver plated casket bearing the makers mark of the renowned silversmiths, Walker and Hall, Circa 1840 in date. The square casket freatures an epic mythological scene of the four seasons with eight winged cherubs on the lid. Each side features the four seasons: spring features a bull and a goddess, summer has a lion and a goddess, autumn has a scorpion and a goddess and winter has a cherub and goddess. The interior of the box features its original quilted buttoned silk upholstery. Add some elegance to your home with this lovely casket. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, an addition to our silver teaware collection This exceptional, antique Edwardian four piece sterling silver tea and coffee service consists of a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar basket. Each piece of this fine Chester silver tea set has an oval rounded form, all in the Queen Anne style. The body of each piece is ornamented with panels of fluted decoration, incorporating a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a wolf chained and collared to one side. The upper rim of each piece is ornamented with an applied moulded border. Both the coffee pot and teapot are fitted with hinged hallmarked domed covers surmounted by the original carved painted wood and sterling silver topped pineapple finials. The silver teapot and coffee pot retain the original carved painted wood handles, featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece. The cream jug is fitted with an elongated C shaped silver handle and the sugar basket a swing handle, each ornamented with reed decoration. The silver coffee pot, cream jug and sugar basket are each supported by a plain and unembellished oval pedestal foot.
