About the Item

A classic Antique Irish George II Cup with a pair of impressive acanthus leaf topped scroll handles. The Georgian Cup has a band around the body and an engraved crest on the one side. The Cup stands on a spread pedestal foot. This 18th Century Irish Silver Cup is an excellent example of its type. Made in Dublin, Ireland in 1752 by Andrew Goodwin. Approx. Weight - 694g / 22.32oz Approx. Height - 15.8cm Approx. Width incl Handles - 23.2cm Approx. Diameter at Rim - 13cm This Cup has a full Irish Hallmark on the side.
