Antique Victorian Solid Silver Gilt 6 Teaspoons Vine Design Charles Boyton, 1883

We are delighted to offer this magnificent set of Victorian silver gilt teaspoons made by Charles Boyton in London, 1883 (one spoon a year later in 1884, identical design). This set of six spoons features a beautiful naturalistic vine handle design with intricate detailing and crisp embossing. Each spoon is gilt with a rich gold tone which not only fabulously accents its surrounding wares but protects the silver from tarnishing. Being made over 100 years ago yet remaining in good condition, aside from luxurious interior display, these spoons may be used practically with a touch of Victorian flair. Perfect for enjoying some ice cream, desserts or for an indulging afternoon tea party - with some creativity, such silverware have limitless uses. Full English hallmarks are present on the bottom side of the spoon. Some slight surface wear as to be expected with antiques over 100 years.     We are delighted to offer this wonderful little solid silver tea caddy spoon made by Joseph Willmore in Birmingham, 1814. The spoon is beautifully crafted in the form of a single vine leaf with an accurate and intricate design ranging from the stem (handle) of the leaf to the different textures (stippled & embossed silver) on the surface of the spoon. The centre of the spoon is embossed in the form of a bunch of grapes with its stem conjoining to the thicker vine handle. Such spooms would have traditionally been used to scoop some tea leaves out of a tea caddy/canister, however, with some creative ideas why not try some new uses such as serving spices or even as a small canapé...

    We are delighted to offer this fine and exquisite pair of early Victorian solid silver tea spoons made in London 1842 with the maker's mark of Sebastian Crespell. The pair features a highly ornate and desirable 'naturalistic' design with the entirety of the spoon-shaped as a leaf and branch. Intricate engravings on the leaf bowls and the realistic form of the stem/branch indicate a high level of craftsmanship and artistry by the silversmith. Upon close inspection, the asymmetric and naturally flowing design is further apparent and is a delightful touch. Not only are these spoons practical for a wide variety of uses from tea to desserts, but are a modest yet discerning addition to any collection or interior decor for a sophisticated and nature-inspired look. The pair is gilded with a yellowish/lemon hue that has been worn and patinated in a very attractive colour/tone. A full set of English hallmarks are present on the reverse side of the bowl.     An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique Victorian English sterling silver novelty mustard pot; an addition to our 19th century silver condiments collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has an oval shaped form on to a circular spreading foot, modelled in the form of a period coal scuttle or flower basket. The lower portion of the body is embellished with undulating fluted ornamentation.
