An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver Fiddle and Shell pattern runcible spoon; an addition to our silver flatware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver runcible spoon has been crafted in the Fiddle and Shell pattern. The runcible spoon has four times with a plain rounded drop. The reverse surface of this sterling silver spoon incorporates a rounded heel to the bowl/drop. This exceptional example of antique newcastle silver was crafted by George Hay Gowland & Clement Gowland of Gowland Brothers. Condition This antique runcible spoon in sterling silver is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and is in exceptional presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the spoon are very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
