Edwardian Period Sterling Silver-Overlay and Enamel Sweetmeats Jar

About the Item

Edwardian Period, sterling silver-overlay (with pink enameled rose garlands) glass sweetmeats jar, American, Ca 1910 (see photographs for arrow pointing to sterling silver mark). Enameled rose garlands and sterling silver decorate both the jar itself and the lid. There are also lightly etched lines on the glass which are part of the decoration. Vacant cartouche. Measures 11 inches high (to top of lid finial) x 4 3/4 inches diameter (at widest point of jar). Dark areas in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
