Exceptional Russian Silver Goblet with Cloisonné Enamel – 1848 Exceptional Russian silver goblet (Goblet), crafted in solid silver and fine enamels, featuring exquisite Cloisonné work with floral, leaf, and geometric motifs. The piece originates from Russia, dated 1848, and is hallmarked on the rim with the silversmith’s initials and the number 84, indicating Russian silver standard (.875 purity). This elegant goblet showcases the refined artistry and detailed enamel techniques typical of 19th-century Russian craftsmanship. The enamels display a harmonious blend of vivid colors and meticulous patterning, enhancing the visual richness of the silver base. The goblet is in excellent antique condition, with only minor wear due to age and use, including a small chip in the white enamel of one leaf. It weighs 384 grams and measures 20 × 8 × 8 cm.
