About the Item

This is by far our most unique offering. We are so happy to present a pair of large vases, centerpiece bowl and a pair of candlesticks. An incredible five-piece suite. Made (and signed) in 1929, this magnificent collection is simply breathtaking! It brings together two beautiful art forms; silver and crystal. The sterling was made by the Gorham Co. and the crystal was commissioned to the Hawkes Glass Co. The base has an alternating pattern of leaves that decorates the entire circumference. There are oak and palm leaves alternating to give a lush fruitful three-dimensional design. Each detail crisp and sharp. The crystal has a diamond pattern on the bottom half. Within each diamond an oval shaped bubble. The upper half has flowers, leaves, and other designs flowing freely throughout. The candlesticks have silver on top as well. The bobeche are removable and easy to clean. This set is truly exceptional and of museum quality. One lucky home is going to be blessed to have it.
