German Sterling Silver Shears or Scissors for Grapes, Plants, Flowers

About the Item

German sterling silver and steel grape shears or scissors beautifully decorated, from the Victorian period, circa late-19th century, Germany. A great piece for cutting bunches of grapes off the vine, as intended, back in the 19th century. Today, they could work well for plants or flowers, a garden, and everyday small clips, etc. A beautiful piece to have on hand. Germany is known for its fine blades and knives. An 'F' hallmark and 'Germany' is found on the blades. Piece is numbered #262 on inside handle area opposite the word 'Sterling'. On inside handle piece is marked 'Sterling' as shown in last image. Dimensions: 2.25" Width x 5.75" Height.
