Silver frame with a gold crown and a gold letter W inset with red enamel and diamonds made for Wilhelm, Crown Prince of Germany (1882-1951), eldest son of Wilhelm II, German Emperor (1859-1941).
Stamped Schleissner with the German Imperial crown and 800 purity.
Measures: 29.5cm/ 11⅝ inches (height) x21.5cm/ 8½ inches (width) x 2cm/ ¾ inch (depth).
Glazed area: 12.5cm /4⅞ inches (width) x 20.5cm/ 8 inches (height).
