19th Century English Cut Glass and Sterling Silver Oil and Vinegar Cruet Set

About the Item

These oil and vinegar bottles are a sleek cruet condiment set, made of fine and elaborate cut crystal and sterling silver with a neoclassical appeal thanks to the Greek key pattern that never goes out of style The glass bottles, cutted with stylized geometric and floral motifs feature a 800 silver curved handle while the spout and lid are embellished with a band featuring the typical neoclassical period motif. These lidded bottles are a great serveware set, could be dated around mid-19th century probably, England. Marked 800 and EF silversmith initial. Glass in perfect condition, silver in very good condition considering age and use. Measures: Height 22 cm, width 11 cm, round base diameter 9 cm.
