About the Item
A pair of magnificent Antique Victorian Figural Salts known as Boy Girl Salts. This pair of Silver Salts is fashioned in the shape of a male and a female figure as peasants. The Girl has a Basket on her back and a Box in her arms. The Boy us wearing a hat and playing an instrument, also with a basket on his back. Each figure stands on a round base with pierced sides.
Made in London, England in 1873 by George Fox.
Approx. Weight - 824g / 27oz
Approx. Height - 17.1cm
Approx. Diameter of Base - 8.8cm
Each Salt has a fill English Hallmark on the Base and part mark on the Basket.
These Victorian Salts are in excellent condition with no damage and good gilding.
