Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver open salts. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Bellied bowl on 3 shell-mounted hoof supports. Repousse flowers and fronds. Everted rim with repousse scallop shells. Interlaced script monogram engraved on underside. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 4174, order no. 4997, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Total weight: 3.4 troy ounces.
