About the Item
Large shaped frame for a round and a rectangular photograph in gold-plated 925/1000 sterling silver with translucent fired enamel on a radial guilloché and rich friezes in the Russian Empire style (Fabergé), early 1900s. External dimensions cm. 15.5 x 17.3, internal diameter of the round photo cm. 4.8, rectangular photo cm. 2.3 x 7. Silver weight gr. 429. Alcantara panel. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1965 and produced at the Salimbeni company headquarters with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high-thickness sheet suitable for withstanding numerous high-fire enamelling firings at approximately 750°<800° C.
