About the Item
Rectangular frame with shaped corners for oval photo in gold-plated 925/1000 sterling silver, with translucent fired enamel on guilloché and enamelled line in late French Empire style. External dimensions cm. 9.5 x 13.5. Internal oval cm. 6 x 9.2. Weight gr. 130. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1971 and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni company headquarters with entirely manual execution by skilled artisan artists with high-thickness sheet and large reinforcements suitable for withstanding numerous enamelling firings at high temperatures at approximately 750° < 800° C
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
