Comprising a punch bowl, ladle and six cups each cast with armed bogatyr with Weapons and inscription through coniferous mountain landscapes the punch bucket is sitting on owl shaped legs and has an amazing art nouveau folding handle, struck with Unrecorded maker's mark S.B (Cyrillic), 84 standard, this set is a rare find, you don't Often see this quality of russian silverware in this condition, the set is Marked 84 for Moscow 1908-1917, amazing Quality set and will have an amazing presence on any dining table or any silver collection.

Rare and exceptional example of early russian Judaica, this torah shield or tas is made From 84 silver, has the marks of the city of saint Petersburg, together with the makers Mark of Michael Karpinsky and the date of 1835, Judaica objects from Russia is very rare, Especially from this early date, saint Petersburg jewish community was very small Because of the Jewish settlement was largely restricted. Under Tsar Alexander II upper Class Jews fitting certain criteria were allowed to live in the city, and many other Jews Who did not fit these categories settled illegally.
This was is decorated with two flanking lions with the two tablets of stone on which the Ten Commandments were engraved on, the 10 commandments are engraved in Hebrew On this example as long as the two words "torah" and "crown" on the two sides.
On the lower part there is the inscription with the donors name which is "Dina Whitenbarch" in Hebrew. the silver work on this was is just exceptional and deep.
The crown on the top of the lions is the Russian crown.
The back part has two welded silver loops used for hanging the shield on the torah.

Important Handmade sterling silver Kiddush goblet by Bezalel School, Jerusalem, Circa 1910-1913.
On the cup there are 3 identical scenes of flanked lions and on the middle of them There are two columns with a staircase, this design is probably taken from Eastern European torah ark, on the middle part there is a chandelier with 3 tiger/lioness Heads, the top of the cup has 3 inscription on top of each flanking lions scene, first One says : ״כוס ישועות אשא״ (Psalms 116:13) which means " I will take the cup of Salvation", this is a rather common blessing on kiddush cups.
Next inscription says : ״אין שמחה אלא ביין״ in English " there is no joy except in wine" This says that after the temple was destroyed we have our joy only in the wine of Kiddish.
The last inscription says ״ושמחת בחגך״ (Deuteronomy 16:14 ) in English : "And you shall rejoice in your festival".
So this cup is a kiddish cup...
