George V Sterling Silver and Enamel Photograph Frame

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver and enamel photograph frame; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection.
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver photo frame has a plain rectangular form with a domed upper portion.
The surface of this frame is plain and embellished to the centre of the upper border with the applied, central enamel monogram 'GAM' beneath an impressive multi-toned coronet.
This impressive antique frame retains the original velvet back and hinged strut, securing with two swivel catches.
This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.
Condition
This antique sterling silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The enamel is in perfect condition. The original velvet covering shows signs of wear, in keeping with age. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear.
