An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver photograph frames made by Joseph Gloster Ltd; an addition to our silver mounted glass collection.
These exceptional antique George V English sterling silver photograph frames have a rounded shaped form with a plain oval window.
The surface of each silver frame is embellished with impressive bright cut engraved scrolling floral decoration to the sides, conjoined by a simplistic leaf festoon to the lower portion.
The domed upper portion of each frame incorporates a shaped vacant cartouche accented with simplified stemmed floral design emenating from each side.
These frames are fitted with the original painted wood backs and hinged struts, each secured with a silver swivel catches.
These impressive examples of antique silverware are fitted with removable glass panels.
