Charles II sterling silver tankard, AL silversmith, London, 1676. Tapered-sided body with hexagonal shield at base of handle, double scroll grip, contemporary heraldic crest on front, engraved base with approximate weight 33=4. T.L mark in rectangular punch with cut corners.
Sterling silver marked with 4 punches:
Manufacturer logo: TL unidentified
Passing lion: league mark. 925/1000 sterling title guarantee check
Leopard head with crown: city of London
