Veyrat French all sterling silver oyster forks set 12 pieces with box fantasy. The design and workmanship of this oyster forks set 12 pieces is exceptional. The handles have fantastic and architectural fantasy with floral decoration. Head of Minerve 1 st titre for 950/1000 French Sterling Silver guarantee. Prestigious silversmith: Gustave Veyrat 7 rue du Perche - Paris. He was active from march 16, 1894 to September 7, 1911. Suffice it to say that the family Veyrat was active in the silversmithing from 1820-1911 to glimpse the importance of this manufactory piece. They exhibited and received prizes in almost all the national and international exhibitions. Starting with a bronze medal at the "Exposition d'industries française" in 1827 for their fine cutlery; they also won awards in 1834, 1839, 1844, 1849, 1853, 1855, 1861, 1863, 1867, and in 1878 in Paris when veyrat Père was a member of the jury for silverware.
