The anterior surface of each fork and spoon handle features a pip to the terminal. Ned. Silver quality/purity mark: Lion Passant mark with 2nd standard purity .833, 833/1000. Duty mark: Minerva head, B - Utrecht Date letter: L-1921 The table forks and spoons are crafted in the identical standard silver by Van Kempen in The Hague, 1920, whereas one serving ladle is crafted by C.L.J. Begeer in Utrecht, 1915. This flatware service can be purchased with sterling silver handled old English pattern knives if so desired. Each spoon and fork is embellished with a paralleling border to the handle, in addition to a pointed terminal. The original table and dessert knives, in addition to the fish service, fruit service and carving set all retain the original faceted Art Deco style mother of pearl handles; each with plain a ferrule. The bowls of the salt and mustard spoons retain the original gilding.
