18th Century German Silver Oil and Vinegar Bottle Cruet Set

About the Item

Continental silver cruet, most likely German and from the 18th century, with exquisite pierced work and cartouches with engraved monograms, standing on 4 animal-shaped feet, with 2 glass bottles with stoppers. The holder measures 11 1/2'' in height by 7 1/4'' in width by 3 1/8'' in depth. The bottles with the stoppers measure 9 2/3'' in height. The hallmarks are somewhat illegible but are shown. Total silver weight is 14.3 ozt.
