About the Item

A sterling silver Georg Jensen pepper shaker, design #423A by Georg Jensen from circa 1925. This shaker is filled from the bottom, the lid is silver and is secured by a bayonet fitting. These shakers are often used with Georg Jensen Acorn & Acanthus pattern flatware, as they are an excellent match. Additional information: Material: Sterling silver Styles: Art Nouveau Hallmarks: We currently have three of these shakers; One with “GI” hallmark from the 1930s and two with GJ hallmark used between 1933-1944. Dimensions: Measures 1 3/4″ (4.3cm) in height. Condition: Excellent vintage condition
