Large Japanese Meiji Era Cloisonne Enamel Charger

About the Item

A large antique Japanese, Meiji era, enamel over brass charger or plate. The plate is adorned with polychrome figural medallions depicting landscape and pond views, birds in sakura trees made in the Cloisonne technique. Inscribed with Calligraphy and red stamps. The backside of the ware is decorated with a scaly design. Unmarked. Circa: Mid to the late 19th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Plates and Chargers, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: D 18 in. All measurements are approximate. Overall good antique condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos.
