The surface of this sterling silver serving tray is embellished with impressive and rare commemorative engraved decoration incorporating two large portraits of King Edward VII and Princess Alexandra. The surface is further embellished with four engraved scenes of the Royal family homes, in addition to a large central Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom, above the motto 'Dieu et mon droit ' - God and my right; this is the motto of the Monarch of the United Kingdom. The raised rounded border of this antique silver tray is ornamented with applied gadroon decoration to the rim. This antique silver tray is fitted with a fine pair of cast sterling silver scrolling brackets handles, each featuring a turned painted wood handpiece. The plain body of this antique silver creamer is embellished with details reproducing the fine definition of the cow's facial and anatomical features. The jug is fitted with a hinged cover, surmounted with an impressive cast and applied finial realistically modelled in the form of a fly.
