An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver spirit tea kettle made in the Queen Anne style; an addition to our antique silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian silver spirit kettle, in sterling standard, has a plain oval rounded form. The lower portion of the body is embellished with fine and impressive embossed fluted decoration, in the Queen Anne style. This antique tea kettle is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover, which also features fluted decoration and retains the original and impressive carved painted wood and sterling silver oval fluted shaped finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. This fine example of antique teaware is fitted with an impressive incurved ribbed handle with impressive lobed sockets to either side of the central original carved painted wood handpiece; the handpiece is ornamented with a continuation of the ribbed design to the handle. An magnificent, fine and impressive, large antique Victorian English sterling silver spirit kettle made by Barnard & Sons Ltd, an addition to our antique silver teaware collection. This magnificent antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a six paneled urn shaped form onto a hexagonal paneled spreading pedestal foot. The surface to this large spirit kettle is embellished with exceptional bright cut engraved foliate festoons incorporating quatrefoil leaf motifs and suspended from rosette designs to each edge. The decoration to the body incorporates two oval cartouches, one of which remains vacant. The cartouche to the anterior surface is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of an antelope's head couped, charged on the neck with four mullets in cross, and holding in the mouth a rose, slipped and leaved, displayed below the motto 'Nil extra numerum'- Nothing is beyond reckoning up*.
