Art Deco Five-Piece Tea and Coffee Set with Wood Handles and Tray

About the Item

A silvered Art Deco five-piece tea and coffee set from the 20th century. The set comprises a teapot, a coffee pot, a creamer and a covered sugar bowl, all with flattened round bodies cut to the top with hinged covers, ear-shaped wooden handles and matching square finials. Each piece presents engraved concentric lines further enhancing their original shape, and rests on an elegantly flared pedestal, while the tray only features a subtle band on each handle. The bold geometric shapes that define the service, typical of the Art Deco style, would make this five-piece tea and coffee set a sophisticated addition to any home seating ensemble. Marked Argentor - Made in Austria.
