About the Item
A rare and exquisite 6-piece porcelain tea set by August Bauscher Weiden, Germany, dating to the late 19th century. The set includes:
• One teapot with lid
• Two teacups
• Two matching saucers
This finely crafted set is lavishly decorated with rich gold gilding, intricate floral etching, and panoramic hand-painted architectural scenes, possibly depicting historical landmarks or palaces.
The handles of the cups and pot are sculpted with neoclassical heads, adding a sculptural and collector-grade element. The interiors of the cups are entirely gilded, reflecting luxury craftsmanship typical of the era.
Marked underneath with the blue monogram “A B” and the form number 225, confirming origin from the renowned Bauscher Weiden porcelain manufactory.
