Memphis Silver Plate and Lucite Tea and Coffee Service by Guildart, circa 1980

About the Item

A stunning Memphis-style coffee and tea service designed by Guildart, Paris. The rare pieces were crafted in France circa 1980. The unique serving ensemble boasts a coffee pot, teapot, creamer, and sugar pot with a sculptural polished silver plate metal body and clear Lucite or Plexiglass thick rod handles. This Memphis tableware service is esthetic in form, construction, and material and was created by renowned silversmith Guildart, Paris, circa 1980. Each piece is marked on the underside with the silversmith Guildart logo and legal hallmarks. Dimensions: The coffee pot is 4.50 in width (11.5 cm) x 3.57 in depth (9 cm) x 10.63 in height (27 cm). The teapot is 4.94 in wide (12.5 cm) x 3.94 in deep (10 cm) x 9.25 in high (23.5 cm). The sugar pot is 3.57 in diameter (9 cm) x 3.94 in high (10 cm). The creamer is 3.13 in wide (8 cm) x 2.38 in deep (6 cm) x 5.32 in high (13.5 cm).
