Vintage Reed & Barton Regent Hand Chased Tea and Coffee Set Service
About the Item
Complete vintage Reed & Barton Regent Hand Chased silverplate pattern 5600C tea and coffee silver plated service set with tray.
This is an absolutely gorgeous silverplate tea set consisting of a teapot, and sugar and creamer. These hand-chased pieces have been sculpted with a scrolls, florals and herringbone accents. Each piece is in very good to excellent condition. The creamer has a beautiful golden wash. The only defects are a small scuff on the front cartouche on the teapot and the interior of the teapot has some slight discoloration. Note that the cartouches are without engravings or initials, so you could easily have them engraved to suit your liking. The marks on the bottom of each piece say "Reed & Barton 5600 C Regent Hand Chased".
Coffee pot: 10" tall, 6" in diameter and 10" at its widest point
Tea pot: 9" tall, 6" in diameter and 10" at its widest point
Sugar bowl with Lid: 6" tall, 4 1/2" in diameter and 6" at its widest point.
Creamer: 5" tall, 4" in diameter and 5" at its widest point.
Large footed waiter tray 26" length x 18": "Reed & Barton ". (Silverplate, Hollowware)
This service set is extremely well made, substantial and heavy. Each piece is marked on the bottom
