About the Item
A fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver coffee pot in the George I style; an addition to our silver teaware collection.
This fine vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver coffee pot has a plain tapering cylindrical form to a stepped collet style foot, all in the George I style.
The surface of the English silver coffee pot is plain and unembellished.
This fine example of vintage teaware is fitted with a hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted by an impressive carved wood and silver finial; secured to the interior with a wing nut.
The sterling silver coffee pot has a carved wood handle with a scrolling thumbpiece and plain cylindrical sterling silver sockets.
This vintage coffee pot has an impressive panelled swan necked spout with simplified pendant drop ornamentation to the nadir and an applied moulded border to the lip.
Condition
This vintage coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition. The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the coffee pot and part hallmarks to the rim of the cover are all very clear.

This magnificent antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a six paneled urn shaped form onto a hexagonal paneled spreading pedestal foot.
The surface to this large spirit kettle is embellished with exceptional bright cut engraved foliate festoons incorporating quatrefoil leaf motifs and suspended from rosette designs to each edge.
The decoration to the body incorporates two oval cartouches, one of which remains vacant.
The cartouche to the anterior surface is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of an antelope's head couped, charged on the neck with four mullets in cross, and holding in the mouth a rose, slipped and leaved, displayed below the motto 'Nil extra numerum'- Nothing is beyond reckoning up*.
