Champagne Bucket Glacette Wine Cooler Black Marquinia Marble Handmade Italy

About the Item

Champagne bucket sculpted by hand from a solid block of Marquina marble, polished finish. This champagne cooler reproduces, in a smaller version, the iconic sculptural champagne bucket designed by the Atelier Barberini & Gunnell, hand made in a limited edition for the Pieruga Marble collection. Its small size makes it more versatile while maintaining all the beauty of the solid marble sculpture. The customer can choose between a marquina marble with few veins or a marquina marble with more pronounced white veins. Champagne bucket dimensions: D 21.5 x H 33.5 cm. 100% hand made in Italy. Each champagne bucket is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved), 100% handmade in Italy and comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity". Marble is a natural material, every piece is unique as each marble block is different in veins and color shades. All of our creations are handmade by Italian artisans and can slightly vary in shape and size. This is to be considered as a guarantee of a handmade object. All Pieruga objects are made of precious and natural marbles and onyx. Marble is sensitive to acid-based liquids, especially a prolonged contact with substances such as wine, lemon, vinegar, fruit juices, cola and alcohol can stain the surface. Cleaning should be carried out with a soft sponge, water and neutral detergent. Do not use metallic or abrasive sponges, do not wash in the dishwasher, do not use in the microwave. The color of the marble after washing can undergo variations due to the humidity trapped in the surface's micro-pores. Once fully dried it will regain its original color. The brass inlays tend to oxidize over time, to make them return to shine again use a soft cotton pad soaked in a solution of water and traditional Marseille soap, gently rub over the brass inserts and rinse the surface thoroughly. We are against the use of chemical products, all Pieruga objects are processed and polished through long manual processes without the use of polishing liquids. Pieruga proudly creates elegant accessories and complements in marble through artisanal processes, bringing into dialogue ancient techniques of sculpture with advanced technologies. 100% handmade in Italy. Our Mission is a clear Signal of opposition to the enormous waste that occurs in the extraction and processing of large blocks of marble, tons of material are discarded and thrown, in disfigurement to the generosity of our mountains. Rediscovering the ancient art of manual sculpture we give new life to even the smallest fragment of marble, bringing to light its millenary beauty that is lost in more than 2000 years of architecture and sculpture. Pieruga marble is a new brand by Barberini & Gunnell. The Atelier Barberini & Gunnell was founded by the architects and designers Francesco Barberini and Nina A. Gunnell The artworks by Barberini & Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art + Design New York, Art Miami. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SHIPPING: We carefully pack all artworks in strong wooden crates to ensure safe transportation. This service is done directly in our atelier and is complimentary.
