Rare Pre-Columbian Inca Silver Mask with Gold Sequins

About the Item

A rare, sheet silver human face mask with simple relief facial features including large, almond shaped eyes and downturned mouth. Classic stepped pyramid headdress with round, very thin sheet gold sequin adornments. Perforated along the edges for attachment. Missing two sequins, otherwise excellent condition. Custom black metal base. Private west coast collection.
