About the Item

1926 mills target practice trade stimulator penny drop game We are proud to offer an untouched example of a circa 1926 O.D. Jennings, The Target 1 Cent trade stimulator. Stamped with its Factory number inside drawer and frame. The exterior of the game is made of forged aluminium parts. It can be taken completely apart for cleaning or repair. There is a glass front, a wooden back board and an interior wooden board with steel pins or nails, (5) black rubber bumpers, and silver painted letters and numbers at the bottom. Inside there are tin slots coming from the top section and a multi compartment cash box drawer at the bottom. The game has a Roman Olympian theme. The exterior has four Olympic Athletes, and ornate designs all around. The Mills owl logo and ''Target Practice'' are on the front top section. There are also some identifying numbers in the metal. There are various holes in the base as made (on the sides and underneath) to bolt or screw the game down so that someone couldn't cheat or walk off with the game. It could be mounted on a bar top, tabletop, or shelf. There is a lock on the front that works well, and you will receive the key that we got with the machine. A few old coins thrown in for good luck. A lovely untouched example, still fully working and highly nostalgic we are sure you will agree. Size in inches approx.: H 18” x W 12” x D 8” Period: 1925 - 1930 Material: Cast metal Origin: United States Condition: Aged Completely solid in structure and form, naturally faded across all surface areas, The pine wooden panel has a superficial crack to the left-hand corner, but this is firmly in place. The metal is faded in areas as show. This is an authentic aged example over 90 years old , so please expect the condition to reflect this, we do try and show this item in all however it can be hard to capture all the areas of damage and wear, so we suggest you propose questions were unsure of its condition.
