This finely detailed frame with the multiple hand carved wooden layers is in very good condition. It has a beautiful color/patina and it is an absolute joy to own, use and to look at. The unique Gothic design combined with its good size makes this an antique that cannot be overlooked and one that will never fail to impress. However, what makes this one of a kind antique mirror stand out from any mirror we ever saw is the year-dating in the top. It is the combination of the year itself, the glass behind that 1913 dating and the way the first digit 1 is intertwined with the letter A (for 'Anno') that makes this unique element extra special and truly creative. Because of its unique design and unusually good condition this stand-out antique could even look marvelous in a more contemporary home.
