Nantucket Lightship Basket, Made by Davis Hall on the South Shoal Lightship

About the Item

Oval Nantucket lightship basket with shaped oak swing handle ending in carved round “lollipop” ends and brass ears. Remnants of the original paper label remains on the bottom. Made by Davis Hall (1929-1906), circa 1875 133. Measures: 6 ¼”.
