About the Item

Beautiful and comfortable pair of firehouse or captains style Windsor chairs. Retains original iron braces, painted surface and rich warm patina of wear. New England, the chairs built circa 1820 with 1st paint I green. Second paint circa 1830-40, likely South Paris Maine where these were found.
